Noodles and Marinated Entrecôte story


We are huge fans of asian food and a good noodle dish is definitely one of them - Noodles and Marinated Entrecôte. The repertoa is endless but there is one of our favorite noodle dish which is quick and easy to prepere. You can make your pasta in advance or buy good quality dried noodles from your local asian store. This recipes has proved success and it had been cooked for many our friends and family dinners.



Coconut Sauce


10g soy sauce

100 g roasted peanuts

5 g garlic

10g white sesame seeds

20g lemongrass

120g coconut milk

50g hoisin sauce

15g fish sauce

20g sugar

100g water



Method Coconut Sauce


All ingredients put into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth texture, set on the side to use it later.



Marinated entrecote


200g entrecote or other beef cuts of your preference (striploin, beef tenderloin, ox cheek or chicken and lamb)

5 ml fish sauce

1 pc grated ginger (10g), keep on the side, will be sautéed with the meat of your choice

1 pc cloves of garlic, grated

25 ml sunflower oil, to fry the meat

1 full hand of baby spinach, to be mixed with noodles

pinch of sugar

salt and pepper



Method Marinated entrecote


Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for one hour to enhance the flavour. In the meantime cook needles, cc 10 min. Cool down and drain properly.

Make your wok hot or have a pan to fry your marinated beef and ginger. Sautee until nice colour and your house smells nice. Stir in noodles, baby spinach,coconut sauce, season and mix well.

Finish with crushed peanuts and fresh vegetables (bean sprouts, peas..)
